    Even being at near highs, it’s not anywhere close to enough to bring prices down.

    This is the biggest problem with people who are screaming “More supply” over and over.

    We could literally triple the yearly number of units constructed, and it wouldn’t bring down prices.

    We don’t have enough construction workers or materials to triple it.

    There is no realistic way to build our way out of the situation we’re in.

      Which is why the people that benefit from the current situation are huge proponents of supply, of course. Just like reducing your personal carbon footprint and pulling yourself up with your bootstraps. Suggest an unrealistic solution, real culprits get a complete pass.
