Valve put up their Steam Year In Review 2025 and initially, they made it seem like their hardware plans were a lot more uncertain but they've since clarified.

      The first one was alright, but honestly felt cheap. This new one has me very interested, and I’m mildly annoyed that it seems to be getting delayed along with the other new hardware, despite not needing expensive RAM to make!

    I’m interested in the Steam machine. Would I really need a full assembly windows PC just for gaming? I hope not.
