I think it would be good for the community and people in the US to have ways to make sure they’re not creating relationships with ICE agents. If the community doesn’t want it all good. and obviously not meant to profile people.

  1. Obviously we know some names of agents who have murdered people: Jonathan Ross, Brian Palacios, Jesus Ochoa, Raymundo Gutierrez
  2. I presume they’d be pretty conservative and machismo. Maybe have some blue lives stickers on their truck.
  3. Maybe tattoos, specifically Punisher. Could be police also.

What else could you use to sniff out if somebody is ICE if they’re hiding it from you?

I think just getting to know someone and judging them based on who they are is a lot more important. Rather than trying to suss out someone’s group affiliations (like if they are part of ICE), why not simply pay attention to how they treat others and the kind of actions they take when faced with challenges? They will naturally show their embodied values and beliefs, and you can then make an informed decision on whether you want to associate with that person or not.

Essentially I think we should be judging people individually. Rather than trying to figure out what kind of person someone is based on their aesthetic choices like stickers or tattoos, see if they treat others with compassion. Everyone makes mistakes and does bad things sometimes, but the people worth sticking around usually recognize when they do, feel remorse, and work on it.

i learned this lesson recently. she had a no-ice, no-racism, no-homophobia, pro-choice sign on her establishments door and also had an isreali gay pride themed flag inside.

So I’m going to be downvoted for this because I always am and I am always shocked but when it comes to women’s rights and LGBTQ rights, I am easily on the side of Israel.

I can hate everything that is happening in Gaza to women and children by Israel and yet not want a Palestinian state if it’s going to be ruled by Hamas. And I’m dumbfounded by leftists and liberals who support them.

it’s called pinkwashing and you get downvotes because it’s a relatively well documented form of propaganda; which means that the only way anyone can still fall for it is if they’re willfully ignorant of the body work that proves its propaganda.

I don’t care what the term is, I haven’t fallen for propaganda. Hamas will kill LGBTQ where they stand, it’s fact. I’m sorry if this destroys your reality but come on. We already know how they treat women. If the people of Palestine actually overthrow hamasand show they want freedom for women and LGBTQ, the I will fully be on their side , but to me, wanting to help Palestine is like wanting to help southern evangelicals. Don’t do that.

propaganda isn’t automatically false and you’re choosing to fall for this form of it (and very likely others); which is why you get downvotes.

Imagine thinking it’s propaganda when you can just look at how Palestinians are treated under Hamas rule.

I’m honestly surprised Republicans aren’t on the side of Hamas, they want the same thing theologically . It just means they’d have to fight over who’s mythological being is more powerful when all their other enemies are gone.
