This contemporary perpetual reality of forever cursed choices needs to end. The only utilities that haven’t been terrible in my lifetime have been municipal utilities and a couple PUDs. There shouldn’t be these private ‘alternatives’ to those.
We’ve (Murica) wisely pulled away from privately-owned publicly-used sewage treatment over the decades and for damned good reason. Energy should be no different.
