Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

    Absolute golden shot. This one will be in middle school history books by the time I’m retired when they’re gonna teach the kids about the rise and fall of fascism in the US.

        I’m watching from Norway, so I can’t do much else than guarantee to the Americans that socialised public services work and properly educated and governed police doesn’t shoot people as their default reaction to any unexpected situation.

    Why do these cameras not have a feature to auto upload or stream to a remote storage? They could easily use Wifi direct and send it to a hidden drive.

      Because you don’t usually have a stable internet connection in the middle of a protest? And because that’s not a very useful way to accomplish what you’re trying to do
