What do you call Tibet then. I know they couldn’t fight back that much, but it’s a literal invasion.

Also, we can’t really know and judge China as the world leader, as they’re not yet.
As soon as you are on top, your behaviour might change. Both for the better, but most likely for the worse. (see US)
Also, we have to remember that China still needs all western partners to keep up their production. They are still a manufacturing country.
The US is losing power for sure, but not slower than it’s allies. Europe can’t just plug and play the US immediately, but they have considerably less problems than Americans.
And just to be clear: I’m not advocating for a US boycott. Just less cooperation than today.
Agreed. At least send the link shared to Twitter then, if there’s any. A screenshot is better than nothing.
Yeah for sure, but the US has taken a sharp turn to the right in the last 4 years, and especially the last 6 months.
Some countries in the EU might also vote more right, but nothing compared to the States.
The man is old af. 8 years is too long either way.
Well, yeah, but he’s made it a big part of his campaign. In reality somebody should make a list of ALL promises they make, and then see who’s trustworthy.
Somebody should make a website that tracks prices on goods and other items from the day Trump becomes president and throughout his term.
He said he would lower prices. His politics says the opposite. Let’s see.
I was confusing the actual war with a later protest against China because of Tibet, happening maybe 10 years ago.
My mistake.
EDIT: Okay I know what happened now. Just found out that Google is displaying different boarders around the world to different regions. I’m pretty sure Tibet was on the map not many years ago, and now it’s not. But apparently, it’s only been like that in the western world.
