Rocket Man Icarus flew too close to the sun on this one. Elon thought he had a lot more pull than he did, but the invisible hand of the market was happy to fist him a friendly reminder of who’s really in charge here. Musks power is his money and his money is his stock price; without it he is less than nothing.

To be fair, that will teach his dumb stupid face a lesson it deserves.

I personally think the fact that Elon wants Jared in that position means he abso-fucking-lutely should not be in it. Elon certainly doesn’t have NASA’s best interests at heart, and I find it highly doubtful his nominee would have a differing opinion.
