Even then, they won’t stop, they’ll play the victim after shooting the guy. If you shoot back, even if you didn’t know they were police or federal agents you’ll still get prosecuted.

They probably don’t make a huge amount of money on childhood vaccines. The money is in chronic illnesses, diet injections and expensive cancer treatments.
In fact, they collectively probably would make more money treating measles cases than selling vaccines.
Makes no sense to me. You’re the opposition party so if you all vote for it, it’s not going to pass anyway. Just vote for it as a signal to voters that you do care. If you can do that song and dance for the minimum wage, why can’t you do it for this?
I mean, obviously this is due to AIPAC having bought all those candidates, but still.
Probably a depressingly high amount. I doubt there’s a lot of ICE agents that see it as just a job instead of a license to fuck with brown people with impunity.
I wasn’t talking about the Supreme Court. The people should be holding a constitutional convention.
The right already has a plan to do that, the people should have their own plan to counter it / take it over.
And actually a big part of the issue is the Supreme Court intentionally misinterpreting the letter and spirit of the constitution. The first, second and fourth amendments were fine the way they were, the Supreme Court just chipped away at them until they meant nothing any more.
You really need to rewrite all this shit from scratch. 250 years is a good run, but at some point you need to restart to fix shit.
And that guy on YouTube who sounds like a cartoon character.
That doesn’t really narrow it down much…
And the only Medicare fraud is done by people like senator Rick Scott on the provider’s side.
It’s not a crime. The Supreme Court said it’s legal to just buy elections in citizens united, and that’s basically what happened.
And it’s not like the Democrats ran an amazing campaign to begin with. If they started out with a competitive primary instead of forcing Biden onto everyone things would’ve probably been different.
Didn’t work out for Michael Jackson and Prince. Eventually it’ll spiral out of control.
It can work if targeted and coupled with industrial policy. Eg. The CHIPS act coupled with a tariff on Chinese chips, stuff like that. Everyone agrees that Trump’s way of doing it was counterproductive.
Eh, Dubya was equally worshipped after 9/11, and now you’re not going to find one Republican that will admit to ever supporting him. The strength of conservatism is that you’re not expected to have values or be consistent ideologically, it’s about being told what to believe.
When Trump finally dies, everyone will pretend they never liked the guy and prop up the next horrible guy.
You’re falling for his PR strategy, he’s not a good guy.
This one I can support.
It’s what Obama did to the Bush administration. None of the excesses got rolled back and now Trump is using that infrastructure to pick up enemies from the street and lock them up without trial.
“it’s time to look forward, not back!”
That’s actually hilarious.
No doubt, but there’s no way they don’t take at least the house back even by doing nothing. At least for midterms candidates can tailor their message more to what people in the district want to hear, instead of having to run on ‘I’ll be exactly like Joe Biden but black’.
I think he just knows the midterms are going to be a massacre for Republicans no matter how much money they throw at it, so he’s going to sit it out to retain the aura of being a kingmaker. It’s the same thing Rupert Murdoch does, when Liberals/Conservatives/Republicans have no chance of winning in the next election, he’ll suck up to Labour/Labor/Democrats and get concessions from them in exchange for support and to keep the illusion in place that his media empire can make anyone win elections.
Same thing for Mehdi Hassan. It’s obvious even if they’ll never outright say it.
