Nope. If just an additional 1 out of every 15 people in Texas had voted for Harris, then Trump would have lost even Texas. The number of people in Texas who could have voted but did not vote far exceeds that number. The number of people in Texas who didn’t vote because they probably thought it wouldn’t matter was big enough to easily make the difference in who won the state. So even the state of Texas could have voted against Trump, if only enough people who could have voted actually did vote for Harris. And Texas is one of your “meaningless” states. Other states could have done this even more easily.

But I would have had NO health insurance for YEARS without Dems creating the ACA. That was huge for me. And before the ACA people on the internet were always telling me there was no chance at all that health care would ever be reformed.

The billionaire owned media didn’t want you to learn about them so that Trump would give them gigantic GOP tax cuts. So the media buried it. You could and should have made the effort to learn what they were but you didn’t. You could have read her 82 page PDF of policy proposals.

If Dems were routinely getting large victories, then politicians would be routinely competing against each other to demonstrate who is going the farthest and the fastest in achieving progress.

The House Oversight Committee has a limited area of responsibility, so how would AOC “revitalize Democratic strategy” in any general way? Why can’t AOC “revitalize Democratic strategy” in a general way without being head of this committee? Other Dems will either listen to her or they won’t.

There is no crime here. So there is no possibility of Cheney being charged with a crime, let alone convicted. This is a political stunt, like Biden’s “impeachment inquery”. Cheney is not worried that she could go to jail. She is legitimately mad about (1) the absurdity of it, and (2) she will have to waste her money on a lawyer.

The GOP is pretending that Treason Trump’s enshitification has already happened and the rule of law in America is already destroyed, purely because Treason Trump is embarrassed that he was caught and convicted of actual real crimes. But the basic protections are still in place. (1) a judge will dismiss any case that has no actual legal grounds. (2) lawyers can be permanently disbarred from bringing cases with no actual legal grounds, and (3) no 12 person random jury would convict when there is no actual crime.

The party can legally just ignore primary votes and name anyone for any spot in the general.

In the same way that the US government can just ignore its own Constitution without violating any international laws.

Nope. Superdelegates were created in the 1980’s. After 2016 it was changed so that they cannot vote in any first round (making them powerless). Nothing has changed since then. This rule will likely still be in effect for the rest of your life.
