Did they really call Biden’s speeches campaign speeches and then listened to Trump’s stump speech?

Everytime I see one of these posts I scream to myself “What did they think they were getting?!” We knew who Trump was and what he was going to do.

A minimal popular vote win gave him multiple wins at so many levels it’s sickening. And how the media pretends like he’s not who he is amplifies the sense it was a huge victory.

I believe all but the most hardcore MAGA believe that at some level. No one will admit it. One of my favorite childhood stories was “The Emperor’s New Clothes”. I never thought I’d live to see it happen in real life.

I had the exact same thought. They are incapable of shame.

I never bought into the Elon hype. I just don’t get it.

Oh he’s thought of other people. Just with contempt or disdain. He’s the victim remember.

I’m sure there is much disdain for taking some of the limelight.

I’m hoping to see Trump cut off Musk. I don’t think he will until his ego is sufficiently bruised.

I get the same type of answers. I really don’t understand their positions on either topic.

“Progressive extremism”? Does anyone understand what progressivism is? What did she want done in Israel? Total elimination of the Palestinians?

I’m thinking it will be a repeat of his first time. He had majorities in both houses and couldn’t get any major policies through because of infighting. With wich a slim majority I think we’ll see the same thing.

I thought we’d at least get to Trump’s inauguration before the major infighting started. The next 4 years will be brutal. I hold on to some optimism that we’ll make it through but it’s going to be hard.

Delgado probably has the more realistic view. Jamie is holding out hope and trying to convince himself what’s happening isn’t really happening.

The line that stuck out to me was “there’s a lot of goodness underneath.” I doubt there is.

It sounds like a typical Republican trying to be a martyr. Hopefully there are enough witnesses to get these charges dropped or for him to be found innocent. On another note have we really reached the point where the word trans can’t be published?
