Swede in France. My grades were quite bad in the language domain, but I read loads of books when I was younger, uni books were in english, foreign tv is subtitled in sweden, worked with foreigners so English is often a given, guess it all adds up.

I’m in the west, so for me probably not very different from today except:

Worse weather (heatwaves, storms)

Better medecin, especially for age related diseases (including aging itself)

AI quite human like in talk (still no robots roaming around)

Some years ago 30.000 people died in the french heat wave, but it was mostly because the night temp was so high and during 3 weeks.
