It is very true, and how trauma is passed on from generation to generation. If you can skip a generation or escape the trauma you are essentially the stopping point of that trauma.

This is what IT feels like. Everything is working? What do we pay those guys for?

I think there is a quote somewhere from someone that says people talk about people, smarter people talk about facts and even smarter people talk about ideas. I am probably murdering the quote, but it was something like that.
It makes sense though, talking about other people doesn’t really provide much direction in life. Facts do provide more direction in life, but ideas really function as a pointer in a lot of situations when may not know what to do otherwise.
I was outside on concrete with grass on the side of it and forgot to put the hand brake in. I step off, just to see the truck roll into the grass with the back wheel. Luckily the concrete the truck was on was high enough to stop the truck when one wheel was on the grass.
The truck was stuck now. Driving forward didn’t work, pulling did not work. In the end we pushed a piece of pipe under it with hammers on both sides and that was enough to lift the back of the truck high enough that I could drive it forward again.
Still sucked though. I never forgot the hand brake again. Also did not get fired, that is never really an option for employers here.
My knees. I am past 30, and my knees somehow don’t want to bend anymore.
On the other hand the older I get, the smarter I get about life. Do some physical activity on a regular basis, keep some long term goals in mind, don’t let your emotional state depend on external factors.
Find balance in your life and know your limits and you will be all right.
Why not, it will definitely reduce the amount of sick people. Because they are dead of course, but still.
Joking obviously.
Darker colors make it more cozy. Light colors make it feel more like a hospital. Green, brown, sand colors, dark blue, dark grey maybe. Just slam something on the wall and check how it feels. You can always paint it again.
