    Perfectly legal under the “whatthefuckareyougonnadoaboutit” clause. Under this clause, anything is legal as long as nobody does anything about it, which is exactly what everyone is going to do.

      Pretty much. Just let another country actively spy on the entire presidency, sacrifice national security, and no one will do a damn thing about it.
