The fact that he’s throwing trans folks under the bus, banning hemp THC, and interviewing the most vile right wingers on his new podcast, is something that (someone else brought this up on bluesky) could mean he’s trying to get ahead of incoming allegations.

This is just someone asserting that it’s possible. They also brought up Elon’s pivot right before it came out that he exposed himself to a flight attendant.

I know everyone here just likes bashing Newsom. But seriously, Hemp products are no where near the quality of cannabis products. You’re basically taking industrial grade fiber in huge amounts to extract the trace THC in it using some seriously harsh chemical processes. Or you know, we could just stick to classic weed plants that grow like… well weeds, I guess, all over California. Banning unregulated hemp bullshit is the right move. Keep the cannabis in the dispensary where it can be regulated and taxed

Can we ease up on the reactionary bullshit and at least read the article. Maybe even figure out what the actual issue is? Fucking hell

I unfortunately got more insight into what’s happening from your comment alone vs the article… why would they leave this info out? At least link to the associated technical process.

Bet, I lived just outside of Porter’s county, people really seemed proud of her (except the greedy CEOs living in the area she was excoriating on live TV).

Get a spine Newsom, we’re looking at someone who has one.
