    I don’t understand the US, there was a big fuzz a decade or so ago when there were talks of Schwarzenegger as presidential candidate and 10-15 years later you get a non-elected foreign in the government?

    Honestly you need Arnold back, with his Conan sword.

      The TL;DR is Propaganda works. And the US is flooded with it.

      And for those who think the “left” can just copy propaganda - no, it doesn’t work like that. Propaganda only serves conservative goals.

            The usual: they control most of the media through subsidies. Keep calling everyone against them “far right” while making deals with actual ethnonationalist far right parties. At some point they even took part in the overtaking of one of the banks (but it wasn’t succesful), oh and they also control the biggests syndicates and funny thing they recently went to strike to protest the opposition.

            Also populism.
