House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries joins Morning Joe to talk about what comes next after Democrats won control of both chambers of Congress in the midterms. Jeffries calls the result a “stunning rebuke” of Trump and GOP policies, adding that Democrats now have to deliver on affordability—from groceries and gas to health care—while pursuing accountability by following the facts and the law.

I cannot say what most Americans want with any certainty. So I only speak for myself.
I want accountability. I want retribution, not just justice but that as well, against those who have wronged the nation. I am probably in the minority in that I’m both bloodthirsty and moderately left of center (very left of center here in Texas).
Jeffries does not speak for what I want. And between today and the end of the next primary season where I fall back in line I’m going to make sure every person I voted for knows that. I’m already drafting letters.
