Now we understand why Trump didn’t want [the Epstein files] released.

Just a week before the midterm elections, which are already shaping up to be a bloodbath for the GOP, Democrats have dropped a bombshell. “A growing body of evidence demonstrates that Donald Trump was an active participant in Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of young women during the mid-to-late 1990s,” states a just-released report from the Democrats of the House Judiciary Committee.

Additionally, they claim that Trump has leveraged his FBI and DOJ to cover up the evidence, and have now called for the appointment of a special counsel to investigate any potential wrongdoing.

Had no idea until now. Personally I thought the secrets to the pyramids were in there and no one wants us knowing about that. This revelation was shocking.

No, he doesn’t give a fuck if we know about his crimes, he probably just doesn’t want us to know the files say he has a small dick

If anything were not news in 2026, this is it.

Anyone who can’t already see this won’t be convinced.

    Stupid article.

In 2009, in my first year of university, I was watching the news and it said that scientists just found out what killed the dinosaurs, they built it up like a shocking revelation, only to reaffirm the already prominent theory that it was an asteroid

On one hand, any discussion about this is better than none.

On the other, Slate has for a long time been extremely wordy/academic-style essays regurgitating obvious positions and news. I am usually in agreement with their positions, but it’s 300 words of argument and conclusion, packaged in 5,000 or 10,000 words of academic, disorganized writing style. Maybe they’re paid by the word.

Republican lies work so well because they pander to Magats - the most uneducated, stupid, and uniformed voters, and they repeat the exact same lies again and again. Just because people here are generally informed does not mean Bubba in BumFuck, Tennessee is.

Joseph Goebbels: “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.”

The same thing goes for repeating the truth. “Trump Rapes Children!” should be shouted each and every time his name is mentioned.
