Probably not as much. Costco returns are their own warranty in a way.
I had a medium sized appliance from Costco and it died 6+ months outside its two year warranty and they took it back and refunded no questions. I’ve contacted companies and felt the seriousness immediately rise in their customer support if they learn I bought the item from Costco and am threatening to return it because they get stuck for some of the cost for that.
The only thing about Costco returns is you need to save all accessories. They can be real sticklers for that so they can send it back to the manufacturer but if you retain all the original accessories (for example travel toothbrush cases and cables) they’ll pretty much always refund. If you junked any accessories, even minor ones they may refuse. Retaining the box is also a plus and I’d do it where I can.
If i go thru costco is it still an issue?
