Why do people obsess over disks? I don’t get it. Sony destroys it with DRM anyway. What’s the point of owning an encrypted disk that refuses to install? People should be upset about digital restrictions management instead.

I have a feeling you haven’t been without power or internet for a few weeks. I have. What do you do in that time? I played my 3ds, that I charged with a mini solar panel, it kept me sane while eating mre’s and canned goods in candle light in hot ass heat.

Because without physical games there is no secondhand market. If the only place you can buy PlayStation games is Sony’s digital only store, they have no incentive to lower prices and can revoke access whenever they want.

      1. I like to borrow game disks from my friends.
      2. Sony will delete digital purchases from customer devices and not compensate the customers. Other companies have done it, but Sony seems to do it more often than anyone.
