So… ICE is working with our enemies?
I’m going to out myself, but I have a point and it’s not to celebrate my 15 minutes of fame, but this issue pisses me off and this might help explain why: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beck_v._Eiland-Hall
The basis for the joke that the site was about was a bit where Gilbert Gottfried was roasting Bob Saget and jokingly kept repeating that “It is NOT TRUE that Bog Saget raped and murdered a girl in 1990”.
But the REASON for this joke was that every time Gilbert repeated the phrase, it, by sheer association, sounded more and more like Bob might’ve done it. Brilliant joke. And the reason it applied here was that Glenn Beck had done an interview with our first sitting Muslim member of Congress, and had said, “Sir, prove to me that you are not working with our enemies”. And that’s fucking galling.
So the fucking irony to know all these years later that ICE, which is an arm of the fascists, is working with our enemies… it is not surprising, but it is fucking galling.
