What I found irritating was that the interviewer started off by falsely claiming that Nixon had campaigned with Piker, and Nixon had to point out that she hadn’t, before saying she’s heard of him but doesn’t know much about him personally.
So get ready folks. Piker is the new Pelosi–the poster child that the magats and magat-supported media will do everything they can to portray as a boogeyman villain, and tie all Democratic candidates to, regardless of where they are on the spectrum of Dem political views.
IMO this is where all the cries of “Socialist! communist! Left-wing extremist!” that repubs have hurled at Dems over so many years is backfiring on them. No one believes them any more. So now even actual socialists can run and repubs screaming that stuff doesn’t have much effect.
Personally I can’t vote for any politician who hasn’t heard the cerebral political opinions of Glup Shitto.
