Mary Marsha Blackburn is an American politician and businesswoman serving as the senior United States senator from Tennessee.
We need to stop electing business people to office. They’re already corrupt before they get there.
Marsha Blackburn
Venture Brothers handled her pretty well…
But it still weirds me out when I’m reminded she’s a real person.
I’ll never not hear:
Hi, I’m Marsha Blackburn
In that super annoying voice they used in the show. I don’t even know if she really sounds like that.
You can both learn how she hears and see how racist / culturally unaware she is in 30 seconds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_0yvB16y4M
Yeah, but this is one of the few scenarios I prefer Britta’s version…

Edit:
She was racist in the cartoon too, but I couldnt find a clip:
During election season in the episode Venture Libre, Marsha Backwood came to the Venture Compound with her assistant in tow. Dr. Venture and company had been called away to Puerto Bahia by General Manhowers to deal with the Venturestein problem, leaving only Dean Venture behind to get the door. As he was preparing to restore H.E.L.P.e.R. to his old body, Dean was irate and dressed in clothing reflecting a repairmen or gardener when he answered the door. Marsha introduced herself, resulting in a noncommittal “'Kay” (as in, “okay”) from Dean. Backwood mistook this answer for the Spanish word qué, meaning “what”, to which she responded by speaking louder and reintroduced herself in basic Spanish. After Dean told her in english that his father had been called by General Manhowers but otherwise brushed her off, Backwood demanded her assistant get Manhowers on the phone–and check if Dean was an illegal immigrant.
The summary doesn’t do it justice, but it’s one of the best bits in Venture, especially when she shows up at the end and gets blown up.
