He continued in a similar, ranty vein, “Don’t believe the Radical Left’s Fake Poll numbers. They are Crooked and Corrupt, just like the Country Destroying Dumocrats are Crooked and Corrupt. VOTE REPUBLICAN FOR GREATNESS IN AMERICA!”

Fresh data from CNN puts his approval at a meager 34 percent, matching his post-Jan. 6 trough, while a new AP-NORC poll has him tied at a post-2017 low of 33 percent. Quinnipiac paints an even grimmer picture, dropping him to a career low of 32 percent.

Turns out the people who are quickest to say something is unamerican are also the same people who will ignore American values like the Pledge of Allegiance and the US Constitution just to “win.”

The Pledge began as a marketing gimmick:

As branding expert John Gorman outlines, the pledge began with an initiative from The Youth’s Companion, a Boston-based magazine looking to expand beyond its religious roots. To reach a broader audience, the editors launched a nationwide effort to place American flags in public schools, offering them as incentives for new subscriptions.

Not such a great example of “American values”, or perhaps since it started as a corporate marketing gimmick it’s a perfect example.
