Truly, you can hear it. We’re 6~9 months away from it. The Democratic party will be outlawed and the courts disbanded. The supreme court is already completely compromised.
It will look like lunacy and many won’t believe it, but the guys with the guns will uphold it as law. Then they’ll purge the capitol police, regular police and permanently federalise the national guard.
It’ll go quick. I’m not sure if Trump will be around for it, but this is the exact same playbook. The fascist takeover has begun and is accelerating.
The next step is invading greenland and cuba and annexing Canada.

Whether it works or not, I have no idea. Revolutions have bad odds for the involved people, even when it’s the powerful doing them. The one you are probably thinking about is 80 years old already, and it remains the default reference exactly because those things usually don’t work out to get written into history.
Also, yes, some of the following steps are invading Greenland, Cuba, and Canada. Again, “annexing” is the name of an outcome. We know they will try, we don’t know the outcome.
lots of folks would happily throw their lives into an armed revolt. specifically the folks who wouldn’t survive the fascist takeover anyway.
i’ve met some of these folks, they’re buying guns and learning how to use them right now.
