    That isn’t a story, it’s just math. With dozens running under D and only 2 under R, and with whoever the top 2 are going to the general regardless of party, there is a very real risk of vote dilution. I hate our stupid primary system.

      So you hate the parties.

      There is no legal frame work for Primaries. They are run by the parties. They were invented by the parties. They didn’t exist in your great grand parents lifetime, assuming you’re not from the American south and are over the age of 21.

      Imagine if we, I don’t know, voted third party.

          Imagine if we had a government system where there were objective measures of success and failure and politicians wouldn’t be able to run for just any office and instead would have to work from the bottom up in order to prove they are not only capable, but also not corrupt or otherwise lying to the people.
