The chocolate marmalade one was described as “just a normal cake”—which makes sense, a lot of soviet recipes were dope at the time but people are in a totally different food system now lmao. Olivier salad still whips ass though. Mainly bc you can substitute a lot of ingredients, use sauce gribiche, better mustard, chicken, brussel sprouts… Mmmmmmmmm brussels sprouts
