New lows/highs in polling are definitely worth reporting, but we also shouldn’t overinterpret individual polls. Nate Silver’s approval tracker still has Trump at 39.3% approval, just below the 40% line.

So what I’m trying to say is: It’s still much much worse than y’all think. High costs of living, cruelty towards immigrants and non-white citizens, blatant corruption, wars, and all that together doesn’t even move the needle that much.

The bar has fallen hasn’t it? Dubya had a lower rating and he at least handled himself with more decorum than Trump even has the capacity for. This 33 needs to drop below 20.

Who, exactly, is shocked by these numbers? Even Tucker Carlson is flipping.

You know you’ve fucked up as a republican when even Tucker won’t back you anymore. I mean, that dude is the lowest of lowlifes and even he is like yo man this is too far…

Only 33% of U.S. adults approve of Trump’s overall job performance, down slightly from 38% last month.

Say wha? That’s not slightly. That’s a massive drop and breaking the barrier.

That’s worse than Carter’s low by 4 pts and outside the MoE.

Who could have possibly seen this coming for trump?

That’s worse than Carter’s low by 4 pts and outside the MoE.

Carter’s lowest approval rating was received with the arrival of *checks notes* military unrest in Iran. Simply impossible for trump to have see this coming as trump is completely ignorant of history.

1 in 3 still support convicted felon, religious extremist, suspected pedo and known war monger who oversees creation of ICE and extrajudicial killings (domestic and foreign) whilst screwing the majority.

33% of Americans are so fucking stupid. They’re happy to hurt themselves knowing that democrats will also be hurt. It’s weird and sick.

Catholics leaving the church because they follow that shitgibbon over the friggin POPE is insane. Really shows they didn’t read that book they kept waving at everyone…

There’s always a lag in polling though. He only just ordered that McDonalds door dash a week ago.

Of the economy. I’m sure his loyal ~38% is still in there overall, minus a blip for the gas prices.

Thats not shocking. I read a report last week that his approval rating was at 36%

Ok, so he dropped 3% in a week. That’s not shocking. That’s just following the natural progression following the flow of recent events.

If I’m well liked in my workplace, but then one day I show up, and just start punching everyone, THAT would be a shocking collapse of how well I’m liked at work.

But if I’m well known at work as the guy who punches everyone, and then I get fired for punching everyone, that wouldn’t be shocking at all. If anything it would be inevitable.
