Democratic Senators John Fetterman of Pennsylvania and Martin Heinrich of New Mexico crossed party lines to support the nomination, while Republican Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky was the sole GOP member to vote against it. Senator Ruben Gallego, Democrat of Arizona, did not vote.

Absolutely and utterly pathetic Democratic leadership and honestly party members that could justify voting in such a incompetent and lying candidate.

Amazing to me. The dems managed to find one more to vote yes after a republican defected.

Not shaking that controlled opposition party look to well.

If none of them showed up, it still passed… 53 without them is more than the simple majority 51 needed… And that’s before Vance would have a tie breaker.
So while yes there are some really shitty Democrats, those two voted for this person to take the position because they wanted them to have it.
