Hillary Clinton is to testify behind closed doors today before a congressional committee investigating the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell.
Former president Bill Clinton is scheduled to answer questions tomorrow from the Republican-led House Oversight Committee about his relations with Epstein, who died in a New York jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial.
The Clintons had initially rejected subpoenas ordering them to testify in the panel’s probe, but the Democratic power couple eventually agreed to do so after House Republicans threatened to hold them in contempt of Congress.
Reportedly both interviews will be recorded and while the GOP will want to release sound bites out of context to support their narrative, it’s only just to release the full, unedited interviews. I’m expecting the entire interviews to be released within a few days of the testimony.
Bill Clinton just needs to say that he and Trump tag teamed a few people and that will either leave him off the hook or drag Trump with him. Bill is old, he just needs to do it for the country.
The letter the Clinton’s wrote had a chilling warning to trump. I forget the exact verbiage but they basically said his actions are not smart. That if he keeps swinging his fists at people like the Clinton’s, they’ll just tear the whole thing down. It basically suggested that trying to make an example of the Clinton’s is a huge mistake that will ultimately backfire.

“Closed doors” is the thing with which I have a problem. If he did wrong, let him face due process. If that means locking him up and throwing away the key, so be it. Pinning things on a complicit fall guy, if that’s even the case here, isn’t justice. It’s obstruction of justice. We don’t need another Ollie North. We need an equitable rule of law.

The Clintons seem to have met Epstein around the time frame when Bill was being scrutinized for not keeping it in his pants.
They also seem to have actually cut ties with Epstein after his conviction.
Bill did borrow the plane in those years before the conviction. So there are still questions to be answered, but I still don’t think Bill did anything on the plane.
