A surprising twist in a New Jersey primary race showed how questions about Israel continue to roil American politics in unpredictable ways.

The group’s allied super PAC spent at least $2.3 million against former Representative Tom Malinowski, who has said that he “would not deny anything Israel needs to defend itself” but left open the possibility of placing limits on aid.
It ran negative ads against him, sending a message that it was willing to punish Democrats seen as insufficiently supportive of Israel. And with the race still uncalled on Friday, Mr. Malinowski was indeed trailing narrowly. But the candidate leading him was not one of the other moderates in the race, but an outspoken critic of Israel: Analilia Mejia, a left-leaning political organizer who has said she believed the country committed genocide in Gaza.

My greatest fear is that by allowing that Orange pedophile and the rest of the cult take over all 3 branches, this effort will be null and void.
What the fuck is the point in getting anti-genocide politicians the Dem ticket if Trump is just going to prevent any Dems from winning by stealing the elections?
This was the fucking point I was trying to make to people in 2024. The reason to vote Kamala wasn’t for Kamala. The reason was because its far easier to defeat genocidal liberals in a democracy than it is to defeat genocidal fascists in an autocracy.
Refusing to vote Kamala enabled Trump’s victory, and thus was the pro-genocide move.
It was the Democrat’s strategy that resulted in low voter turnout. The votes were up for grabs, they ran away from them. It’s not like the campaign was unaware of what messaging and policies were unpopular. They chose to ignore it. They chose to run to the right on policy and messaging. If they gave a shit about being an opposition to fascism, about actually winning, they would have heeded all the warning signs and run a different campaign. Instead they prioritized the interest of their capital donors, and gave a fuck you to their constituents that they are supposed to represent.
