Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s sex crimes and a group of Democratic members of Congress are asking for an independent review of the Epstein case files to determine whether any of the records have been “tampered” with or concealed, ahead of the release of those files by next week.

In a letter Thursday to the Justice Department’s inspector general, Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee asked the internal watchdog to undertake a formal review to check for any “chain of custody” problems with the Epstein files.

Fucking stupid to do this shit while trump is still in power…

Wait till their gone, then when you co trol the material, you can do an actual investigation.

    Edit:

Pretty wild people think we should get the people who edited the Epstein files to audit the Epstein files to see if they’d been edited…

Because, and this should be obvious, if they find any evidence, they’ll destroy it

Wait till they’re out of power, and there’s the possibility of accountability, then look for the evidence.

If they look now, we’ll never find anything they find.

Same thing was said last time Trump was in power. Then 4 years of nothing.

This is just one issue of many but this is the one that gained traction. Remember Trump and Republicans first coup attempt? Remember the motel rooms full of guns?

Did we ever find out how rally goers from Alabama knew which windows on the Capitol Building were bomb proof reinforced?

Maybe in another 4 years will be the perfect time. Maybe.

Like when? 2021? 2022? 2023? Maybe 2024, an election year, when the material can do the most damage?
