I’ll worry about Patagonia’s “dark money” operation after I worry about Elon Musk’s $250 million purchase of the presidency, including his scheme to buy votes. If shopping at Patagonia means I’m bankrolling democrats, I’d say it’s more incentive to shop at Patagonia. I’ll take the moral high ground after we’ve eliminated the worst offenders, first.

Yes their products cost a lot, and ethical consumption doesn’t exist in capitalism, but they seem closer to positive than any of their competitors.

Yeah I think the laws would change so we know these donations. But I doubt either party really care to change at this point.
For 1.4 million, in a world of dark money. I can’t find it in me to care. Not when Billionaires are openly talking about buying elections in foreign countries.
If the rules only apply to one side then they aren’t rules, they’re oppression.
