Because of the Canadian voting system (FPTP), people are unfortunately stuck with 2 major political parties. I wish Canada has a different voting system :

Normally, I wouldn’t support a guy like Mark Carney. I think he is way too close with the global corporate elite. However, Pierre Poilievre talks about dismantling CBC. That’s alarming.

CBC does AMAZING investigative journalism :

An attack on CBC is an attack on Canada.

What did PP do for work before politics?

Did he not even work at mcdonald’s as a teen or anything? Any sort of blue collar work at all?

Seems crazy that his literal first job is with the Conservative party and he literally knows nothing else of the working force of the world.

I imagine if the average hard working voter knew that they would be unable to support him. Was he so priveleged growing up he didn’t even have to get a part time job?

    I need to know more!

What did PP do for work before politics?

He worked at a call centre during university but literally never had a full-time job outside politics. Unfortunately for him he hasn’t been able to leverage that extensive experience into having good political instincts or any semblance of charisma.

I don’t think it’s clear that he didn’t have a job before, the other candidates also seem to Only have listings of their formal careers in their adult life… but it’s worth digging. My first job as a teenager was roofing and I can say that summer was so hard it built a work ethic in me so all subsequent jobs were ‘easy’ by comparison… the jobs you have in your formative years really can shape you for a lifetime.
