Already burdened with the need to fulfill strict requirements mandated by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, state governments all across the country are about to face even higher costs.

Several provisions from President Donald Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act relating to Medicaid and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, will go into effect on October 1. This will include pushing more of the cost of SNAP administration onto states, and limiting Medicaid eligibility for legal immigrants.

Arizona already implemented these new rules and 400K people including 100K kids are going hungry and of course leopards are eating faces.

    If we can’t even ensure kids are taken care of we are failing as a nation. Between SNAP and medicaid cuts and ICE detentions of parents and children this is a terrible time to be a child for many kids, through no fault of their own. American adults are failing them.
