Voting out of line with the Democratic Party in North Carolina is proving to be a fraught decision.
I don’t like this way of putting it. I don’t want the democrats to be a “toe the line” party. What’s risky is going along with Republican bullshit, not breaking from specific Democrat positions.
“Voting against their constituents’ interests” might be a better way to put it.
Yes. Siding with the republicans is very much voting against this constituent’s interests.
