GOG is not a nonprofit. They don’t need donations and I doubt there is any accountability for this money.
I assumed people supported these old game repackages by, you know, buying them - or will GOG give them away?
I’m okay with this as long as it’s being used properly.

Just like ATMs at the pickup counter have a default tipping prompt, which is now normalized, imagine filling up at the gas pump and being prompted ahead of time to leave a tip. Or on your Netflix subscription. Etc. Corps will take advantage of this shit once someone starts it and goes with it.
